  • The Pathology Laboratory at Holy Family Hospital & Research Centre is ISO 9001: 2015 accredited.
  • It uses highly advanced equipment to ensure top-tier performance supported by advanced automation and digital platforms.
  • The department features modern, state-of-the-art auto analysers, all of which are well maintained.
  • The department is operated by experienced Pathologists and trained technicians, and support staff who work collaboratively to ensure accurate reporting and rapid turn-around time.

  • Our team of experts work in close collaboration with referring physicians, assisting in interpretation of test results and contributing to informed treatment decision.
  • The Department operates 24 hours a day, throughout the year. Tests are conducted for both outpatients and inpatients as required.
  • Home visit facility is available on prior appointment on week days
  • The test menu includes more than 1000 different tests.
  • The department conducts tests in the fields of Haematology, Biochemistry, Histopathology, Clinical Pathology, Serology, Immunology and Microbiology.
  • Haematology – Blood counts CBC, coagulation profiles, anemia workup, and hematologic malignancy screening.
  • Clinical Pathology – Urine, stool, semen analysis and body fluid analysis with microscopy and biochemical evaluation.
  • Biochemistry & Immunology –diabetes profiles, cardiac enzymes, liver/kidney panels, and tumor markers, hormone assays
  • Multiple quality checks are in place, including internal and external quality assurance programs, as well as inter-laboratory comparative assays to maintain high report standards
  • Special tests are conducted as per the lab schedule. However, on request from the patient or clinician, services are provided under certain conditions.
  • Specialized test not performed at our hospital are outsourced to accredited laboratories.
  • Routine test reports are dispatched on the same day through email, while special test reports are provided on scheduled days according to lab protocols.
  • Continuous Medical Education (CME) sessions are conducted to support continuous learning and professional development.

  • We commit for timely and precise diagnosis taking in the consideration patient welfare. We routinely participate in EQUAS programmes for 6 cycles in an year
  • Our department is well equipped with services for Frozen section (intraoperative diagnosis) , biopsy and resection specimen histopathology reporting , fluid cytology, cervical smears and immunohistochemistry.
