Dr. Farzin Vazifdar, Consultant - Emergency Medicine 
A two-hour workshop was held for TY BSc Hospitality students of St. Andrew’s College on Basic First Aid. The topics covered were: Burns, Cuts, Scalds, Falls, Electric Shocks and Bandages. 
Students were given practical demonstrations on how to tie a torniquet, basic bandaging techniques and CPR. For many students this was the first time they were shown the basics of first aid. The session was designed to help them administer basic first aid which would be useful in their daily life.
