Dr. Mehul Choksi is regarded as one of the best Gastroenterologist in Mumbai with vast experience in the field of digestive diseases and advanced therapeutic endoscopy. After completing his MBBS from Mumbai University, he pursued residency training in General Medicine at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. Thereafter, he completed his residency training in Gastroenterology at the prestigious Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, which is ranked consistently among the top medical institutes in India.
He is currently serving at Holy Family Hospital in Mumbai. He underwent specialized training in Gastrointestinal Oncology and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at India’s premier cancer institute, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where he also held a teaching position. He was awarded the Peter Cotton Travel Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at the Medical University of South Carolina, USA, and furthered his expertise in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) techniques at the Center for Interventional Endoscopy, Florida Hospital, USA.
