Dr. Pathare is Cardio-thoracic and Vascular Surgeon with 30 years of experience specialising in high risk & off pump CABG, Aortic Dissection Surgery, Heart & Lung transplant surgery, ECMO and implantation of Mechanical circulatory assist devices. He completed M.B,B.S, General Surgery (MS) and Cardio-thoracic & Vascular surgery (MCh), from the prestigious Seth G. S. Medical College & King Edward VII Memorial Hospital at Mumbai. Dr. Pathare completed multiple fellowships in Australia in 
Aortic surgery and surgical treatment of Heart failure.
 
Dr Pathare is Australian board certified Heart & Lung transplant Surgeon and has successfully proctored Heart Transplant Surgeries in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Telangana. He specialises in implanting Ventricular Assist Devices in patients of intractable heart failure for temporary or permanent cardiac support. He has served as Director (CVTS) of Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. In addition to having completed more than 5500 CABG and valve surgeries, he has also performed Western India’s first successful bridging of a Bi-VAD to a heart transplant as well as the world’s first successful double valve replacement, aortic arch replacement, pulmonary thrombectomy and Cabrol modification of aortic root replacement in a pregnant patient with twins.
